Emergency Symptoms (Call 999)
If you experience signs of severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) — such as sudden swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or throat, severe shortness of breath, tightness in your chest, or dizziness — call 999 immediately or go to your nearest A&E hospital department.
Reporting Adverse Effects (MHRA Yellow Card)
You can report suspected side effects from any medication directly to the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) through the Yellow Card Scheme at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk . Reporting helps make medicines safer for everyone across the UK.

The Black Triangle Symbol (▼)
Some newly licensed medications carry an inverted black triangle (▼) on their packaging or patient information leaflet. This indicates intensive clinical monitoring by the MHRA. It does not mean the medicine is unsafe; rather, prescribers and patients are encouraged to report any unexpected symptoms.
Safe Disposal of Unused Medicines
Never dispose of medicines via household rubbish or wastewater drains, as this damages the environment and water systems. You can return unused or expired medicines to any local community pharmacy for safe, compliant destruction free of charge.
